Have you ever felt the yearning to fly?

Two figures fall through space, to land in the ruins of a garage – a liminal place where people go to tinker with discarded stuff,  a place of possibility, even hope.

They try to remember how to build wings: A DIY story about escaping the past and inventing a future of possibility.

A playful and poetic duet inspired by the myth of Icarus. In this interpretation, the Icarus duo is granted a second chance to fly. They engage in a precarious dance of flying and falling, pushing the boundaries of their seemingly impossible task. With a do-it-yourself aesthetic, the stage transforms into a garage—an open space filled with untapped potential—where the duo develops and experiments with flying inventions using discarded objects they find, such as buckets, planks, ropes, balloons, and feathers. Through surreal imagery and visceral movement, the audience is transported from a mundane world of discarded rubbish to a realm of wonder, creating an illusory landscape of flight.

This is The Land Review ★★★★

These five made for an extremely talented and skilled ensemble of movers well attuned to each other and the space.

Experimental and quirky... this is surely high-quality physical theatre!
