Egress' was created during the Screendance in the Landscape workshop with Katrina McPherson and Colin McPherson, Easdale, Scotland, 2023. Concept, filming, and direction: Mary Steadman Dancers: Freya Jeffs and Lewis Landini Sound: Drone by John Baggott The video is a response to the beautiful island of Easdale and its hallucinatory light. The term 'egress' means a way out. Question: A way out to other realities that exist alongside this one, the drawn the allure of the eerie in the landscape?
